Norrie Innes
Norrie Innes is a Chartered Civil Engineer and has led and managed teams with unswerving probity delivering some of the most complex and challenging regeneration projects in the UK. Other projects include: Kilsyth Main Street (North Lanarkshire), Heart of the City (Sheffield), and Hackney Town Hall Square (London). Norrie was also highly involved and on the board (signatory) of Action Barras Calton (ABC), an organization created to help regenerate the area. He also sits on the Cross Party group in the Parliament to promote and energize rail usage, with a specific focus on the Glasgow Cross Station reopening of the rail line (Crossrail).
Norrie was a professional footballer until his early 20’s, he played for Hibs and Clyde, then directed his focus on studies, first with an HND in Civil Engineering at GCU and then gaining a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) at Paisley University.
Norrie and his family lived in Catalonia for over 6 years, where they absorbed the Catalan/Mediterranian culture, new language, the importance of good food, great football and the importance of the community values: Support, Strength, Respect, Courage and Balance.
Norrie is a fellow member of RSA and Acosvo, and ROCK REGEN is part of Social Enterprise Scotland and UK, Glasgow Social Enterprise and SE100.
Ross McLauchlan
Ross McLauchlan, a Chartered Accountant, has been engaged with clients of the public sector engaged in property and regeneration of the East End. He’s one of the partners at Wylie & Bisset.
Ross’s relevant track record is a key contribution. He has over 40 Educational clients in Education Sector throughout Scotland and England including West College Scotland , Glasgow Clyde College and Kelvin College, St Aloysius and many more. Work include both External and Internal Audit work as well as other advisory services and due diligence.
Various Social Enterprise and various Charity clients throughout Scotland including accounts preparation and audits. He also has numerous Corporate SME’s clients thorough the UK.
Ross is also a member of Fraud advisory panel for the UK, he provides general advisory assistance to all clients from corporate services and funding. His experience includes External and Internal Audit including leading on Fraud investigations.
Laura Quintana
Laura Quintana arrived in Scotland from Catalonia in 2012 and immediately gained employment with ROCK DCM.
In Catalonia Laura worked in different sectors, from construction projects to outdoor activity / wellbeing / health centres and a precision engineering valve company. Laura has and expansive knowledge in admin, accounts and project management covering various sectors.
During last period in Catalonia, Laura worked for an outdoor activity company, managing and organizing from school activities to team building packages for corporate organisations.
She also volunteered to work with kids in local community centres.
Laura has worked with Norrie and specifically in the Calton area for since 2012 and managed numerous events, markets, and worked with local artists and traders. She has been the driving force behind the Barras Art and Design project for the last 5 years, and brings considerable knowledge and skills that are required to ensure community engagement throughout the lifetime of this project. Laura has organised and managed community activities ranging from small gatherings (<10) to large capacity events (1,800+).
